Car doesnt kick down when pedal to floor!?! Not sure where to post this:
Sometimes when I sit at hwy speeds (70-75) for a little bit and then I put it to the floor the car doesnt downshift and doesnt speed up either. Just kind of bogs and stays around the same speed. Then if i let off the gas and slow down for a couple seconds then stick it, it kicks down and i go like hell.
Also, sometimes when I slowly take off in OD to about 10-15 and then hit it, it wont grab a gear. The rpms will take off but the car doesnt really go. Then if I let off the gas and punch it again it will grab a gear and go like hell.
Is this somehow related to the MAF being disengaged? What could I have changed to make the car do this?
