Default Tunning, is this correct?

Alright I have read around and have a simple question/theory. When you tune you want to first tune your VE table in SD mode until you get your ltrims between 0 to -5 correct? After that you plug the maf back in, log and then calculate your maf table. So pretty much what you want to do is get your VE table right and then match the MAF table to the ve? Ie (i know these numbers are going to be way off) you flow 150 g/sec at 3000 rpms at 50kpa, lets say 3000rpms at 50kpa is 5000hz on your maf table you would then want to set your maf table at 150g/sec at 5000hz if that was the case. Correct? If im reading correctly the maf table hz should match its corresponding cell in the VE table

Default

You can actually log your maf Hz and dynamic airflow while you are tuning your VE in SD mode. This way when you find a set of VE values that work just take the corresponding MAF data found in the same log and use those to calibrate the MAF. Once you plug the new calibrated MAF back in you can continue to log MAF data to refine the MAF calibration. If you look around on here there is a MAF calculator in which you plug in your MAF hz. and Dynamic airflow and out pops a perfect MAF calibration table.
