Default HP Tuners '97 Corvette

Why is the HP Tuners software grayed out (apparently unavailable) for the '97 Corvette? What option would I have? Many mods, been down for a year, shopping for software.

Yep, I had that problem also, not much out there for '97. I think the computer was a little less refined in '97, then changed. Only about 9000 vettes built that year (compared to avg 30,000), so no profit to be made by manufacturers on a one off/one year low production vehicle.

You have a 97 Corvette tune on your website, and my software says it can't be opened because that year is not supported. This leads me to believe that somebody has a beta out there. I noticed that a few months back actually.

I posted the 97 .bin files. I use HP Tuners since January this year. If you have a 97 C5 email Keith your VIN and he can check if your car is supported. My car was one of the last 97 production C5s VIN ending 9272, Job no. 9456 from 9752 that year (i believe).

I guess i have already a 98 PCM intstalled from the factory.

please email sales@hptuners.com

we do provide support for 97's but cannot make a blanket offering on the website as not all 97's can be supported. You need to email us and we will ask you for your VIN etc.

We will be updating to website to indicate this.
