My crankshaft position sensor (P0336) code came on. Now this has happened twice in the past month. Ever since I recieved my HPtuners my tune is awesome,but now P0103 and now P0336. I need a simple answer. When I replace the CKP sensor, do I need to do a relearn on it or can I just replace it or not replace it at all. I've read that if I'm throwing P0336 and not P0335 that all I need is to do a relearn, and why does the CKP need a relearn all of a sudden?????? The car runs great as soon as I clear the codes but this is really getting to me

For those who care and for those who are always looking for an update on how these things get solved. All wires are o.k. removed the starter and replaced the crankshaft position sensor and all is fine. No codes and I didn't need to do the crankshaft relearn. I'll let everyone know in a week to see if all is still working.

D money what was the 90336 code causing? (mis fire etc.?)

It was causing a crap load of misfires. I haven't had a problem since...............
