Default Hptuners?

I just ordered hptuners and was thankin about ordering a LM-1 wideband too. I was wanting to see the A/F ratio at say every 500 rpms. Can you hook it to the hptuners some way to see the A/F at every 500 rpms or do I need to buy the opional rpm cord for the LM-1?

Thanks

Justin

did you order HP Tunrs w/the EIO option? if so then the LM-1 can output direct to HP Tuners and it will log the wideband out put as part of a scan, w/24 PIDs the scan captures 10 frames per second, but it captures much more than that from the wideband

What are the widebands that can hook up to the EIO HPTuner? I bought mine with that option for future use when I get a cam.

I'm not sure of a complete list, but any wideband that's able to output a 0-5v analog signal should work... preferably if it's linear

Hoirst, would it be accurate to log a/f and rpm on LM-1 and use this as a cross referance compared to data on HPT edit. Or is there no real way to sychronize the two for accuracy? Basically, any way to tune with wideband succesively without hooking to computer, or am I just trying to be cheap?

yup you can do that... it's better to input it into the scanner though so you can use the things like AFR Error %, or see what load cells you're in (since the RPM Converter doesn't log MAP)

But if you're mostly concerned w/WOT tuning then the RPM Converter and LM1 will work fine
