Default TCC Release % TPS vs. Speed - Normal

Confused by this table. First I assumed the speed was at the top since it went to 128 and I didnt think you could have 128%tps and the values in the table where at 100%tps. I assumed this meant at any speed with 100% tps it would release tcc but It doesnt let you do to 110% to keep it locked at wot.. So I assume its 100mph and the tps is across the top.

Is this right? Im trying to figure out if this table may be the reason im not locking tcc at wot...

This table is the required TPS at a certain speed and gear to release the TCC.

Thats what hp tuners says, stock values are 100 across the board on all of them.
the table that you want is the one above it:
TCC apply/release speed vs tps vs gear

tps is on top gears to the left mph in the cells in the far right column under 100 set the values to 256

I had the same problem stock in third the tcc will lock no matter what at 80 mph

My problem is that I need it to lock under wot. I have it set on the table above it but something is keeping it from locking.

you can do that via hex and you have to fix the checksum after your done, if you want me to set it up for you email me at jessebubb@yahoo.com ill set it up in the bin for you. it will be at 105% so it will never unlock at wot. jes

Just wondering why would you want to do that though? What is the advantage to making it stay locked even at 100%TPS?

Wait4me: So you do think that is my problem? I would appreciate the help, Ill send it over.

God_Forgives I Dont: As you probably know with a larger converter you lose hp and tq. Probably why I see unlocked in you sig. Locked you will gain that back and can use it at least from what I have seen. I have did runs w/ and w/o it locked. (manually pushed in vcm controls)

With only full exhaust and a lid I gained 2.5 mph consistenly and .1-.2 in the quarter lock vs. unlock. I only have ~ 330hp and it gained me this much. Very surprising since I have heard people say you wont see any gain going w/ a multi disc, but I have. Even more of a reason is when I spray nitrous It blows through a single disc and you lose even more. Thats why most people get them. But from what I have seen I assume I will gain back a lot of mph just from my h/c setup.

From logging the delivered torqe It seems to gain about 10-20lb/tq. Im not sure how to use excel to find out assumed hp by that but i would like to find out....

I tried last night and it let me enter "101" for the
values, and saved the table without "correcting"
it back to 100.

yah,, you have to do it via a hex editor or it wont work, They have sanity checks on every table, so it isnt a sane number therefore wont let you change the value, jes
