Default tuning worth it?

I have a 99 z28, with 4.10s lid,slpmaf,pacesetters lt, ory I have the htppIII, I changed the speed for the gears, but should I go get a tune done on my car would it be worth it?

Do you plan to do any other mods anytime soon? Probably not worth it w/ minimal mods. You should be ok w/ ur programmer for now.

In a few months I planed on getting a cam and intake and pullies, but never know.

tuning is only worth it if you can find it cheap enough to make it worth it for you...

personally I'd ditch the hypertech and try to find someone close to help you with some real tuning...


and you have enough stuff to warrant a tune in my opinion...

If done free or really cheap then yeah, but if he is getting a cam he will have to pay another $200+ plus for a tune if he doesnt know anyone. I dont like the Hypertech but since he already has it it does a little good.

Basically only reason I have hyptech is for the speed, and it shifts harder and faster.

I do know a coulpe people, but wouldn't they change like my air/fuel ratio and stuff like that?

my experience with jesse at "waitforme" is that he will do whatever you want and will not let you shoot yourself in the foot. you can contact him at jessebubb@yahoo.com he turns PCMs around in 1 day. there are other highly recommended mail order tuners on this forum.
