Default Apexi products - Anyone try them?

I was wondering if anyone tried using apexi products on our cars. I ran across this

http://www.horsepowerfreaks.com/sale/Apexi/Fuel/Fuel_Computers/part/S-AFC_II_(NEW_Version_2)

It seems it could prove useful. Works with OBD2 systems. Anyone?

I tried one when I was running an LS1 maf on my blown 3.8. Never could get it to work. You have to choose one of about 50 possible settings when you're first setting it up, for the type of car you're putting it in. They had all kinds of cars listed in the appendix, except GM products. I tried almost all of the settings, and my pcm never did recognize the maf signal (when it was going through the safc). It would recognize the signal just fine when I bypassed the safc.

It was kind of cool with the display for rpm, knock sensor activity, etc though...
