HPTuners vs EFI LIVE?

HPTuners vs EFI LIVE?
I'm pretty good with computers, but so-so with tuning. Fortunately, I have access to some excellent resources for tuning.
Which software program is "better"? I'd eventually like to integrate a wide band 02 sensor and be able to tune the car under all throttle conditions including of course, full throttle.
The car is currently NA with a somewhat snotty cam and a shot. If some of the new TT kits prove themselves I may go down that road. So having a unit that can understand boost (up to 18lbs) would be beneficial as well.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I have EFILive (scanner only) and I found it to be a great product. However, when it came time to purchase a tuner software, I went with HPTuners. I have the enhanced I/O so I can hook up a wideband 02, etc to it. I recently had a TCI SSF 3500 installed and I would have been lost without this software.

I just did HPTuners when I had to make the choice, and I am happy with it. It doesn't seem to have all of the pretty features like EFI does, but the price was right. I just can't see doing EFI at this point due to the cost...HPT will give me everything I need. They have been a bit slow coming out with their latest version, but that's life.

Fact is, both companies make a great product and with the level of competition they will take turns steping ahead of one another. All you can do is research the two products and decide what's right for you. If you have money falling out your ***, buy both.
I personally use EFILive and wouldn't trade it. I chose them because of the free software updates for life, and customer support. The EFILive guys seem like they work round the clock and are fast at getting updates out.

I've been using VCM Suite (HP Tuners) since it first came out... for both my GTP and my TA and love it... easy to use, the scanner is really nice. I love the licensing as well... I've helped out many friends that just need small changes (gears, tires, etc...) since the licenses are unlimited for the year/model.
Search through the forum and there are many great threads about both.
As for wideband... same thing... search the forum... there's a ton of discussion about the various wideband makes.
I'm fond of Innovate Motorsports LM-1 and now the new LC-1 (but I've only had experience w/the LM-1). Dynojet's package is also very nice.

I'm using the PLX M-300 and it works great. It has a linear 0-5 VDC output that plugs right into my FlashScan Interface unit. The EFILive Scanning software that goes with FlashScan is already set up for PLX and several of the other popular WBO2 inputs.
All my Best,
