Default Idle PIDs in HPT not logging... any ideas?

Hey all,

Ive gotten rather frustrated as of late when trying to tune the idle with this new TPIS Oval TB. The Idle is racing at about 2500 at all times until I come to a stop. Then in about 5 seconds, it decends to a normal 850-950 or so. Its pretty obnoxious
If I unplug the IAC, it's not as steady as I'd like, but it doesnt race up to 2500 rpm. The idle LTFTs are way positive because of all the extra air the IAC is letting in down there. There is mad cruise control.
I'd like to go through the step-by-step idle transition tuning, but HPTuners just doesnt seem to log the idle PIDs for me, version 1.6.1 or 1.7.0. I have a 99 F-body. I have the PIDs on the chart, and the usual good stuff will log to it's heart's content... MAF flow, RPM, MAP, etc etc. But any idle parameter (LTIT, STIT, DesIAC, IAC Position, etc) is just stuck at zero.

Anyone else have this blank PID issue? Does anyone else know WHY a TB/Intake combo would all of a sudden change so much of the tune?

To make matters worse, the muffler hanger nut came off and now the exhaust hangs all low on one side. Between the 2500 rpm idle, the nutty exhaust, and the erratic driving because Im staring at a laptop... This is downright embarrasing. Help?

I think this is the throttle follower, but that the
TPIS TB has a very different airflow per IAC count
characteristic. I don't know whether this is
something that there's an accessible param for,
but that's where I'd dig.

pm sent...
to log something it has to be in the Main table...
you have up to 24 bytes you can log at once....

http://www.hptuners.com/gfx/afr1-big.jpg

the table is the one on the left in this pic...

must have items you want to log added in this table...if its not there...it wont get logged...
IF you are already at 24 bytes...remove something to make room for th ethings you want to log.

Thanks Scott. That is really "not obvious", for some reason. Thanks for blazing that trail. Hopefully today I can start logging some idle stuff.
