I had a power steering leak that destroyed the rubber protection on the O2 wires among other wires. So After replacing my alternator and remaking wires. I think I accidently fried my new O2 sensor on my driver side because I was pulling the wires from hte harness with the wholes marked ABCD but the wires were discolored from hte power steering fluid..

COULD SOMEONE PLEASE GO OUT TO THEIR CAR AND CHECK THEIR DRIVER SIDE WIRE HARNESS FOR THE OXYGEN SENSOR AND TELL ME WHAT WIRES GO WITH WHAT LETTERS ON THE HARNESS THAT THE O2 SENSOR PLUGS INTO!? I wanna make sure it's right before I buy anohter one and put it in.

My 99 is the square plug and I don't think it has ABCD. But I can tell you the two brown wires are reversable but the other two need to be going to the correct ones. One wire is for the O2 Heater and the other is for the actual sensor line. 2 Browns are seperate groups.

Edit: 2 Browns are seperate grounds. I would go to the parts store and look! LOL Good luck

If you look very closely. where the wires go into the harness you'll see lil letters.. my wires. are pink purple brown and black.
