Default New shift points fail, why?? ... newbie.:)

I raised Rev limit to: 6900 rpmīs for my new cam.

and then in the WOT SHIFT RPM VS. SHIFT
I raised:

1 to 2 shift = 6500 rpm.
2 to 3 shift = 6500 rpm.
3 to 4 shift = 6500 rpm.

in the test, at WOT the shift up failure and hit the rev limit,, why??

6500 is when it starts. 6900 is when it had better
be finished. Trans needs finite cycle time. If you
hit the limiter, bump-bump-shift, then you need to
lead the shift more, perhaps increase the shift
pressure and decrease the adaptation time values.

If it hangs, bump-bump-bump-bump... and never
will shift, look to your MPH values. Did you change
these correspondingly? Maybe too high?

Both MPH and RPM points must be satisfied before
the shift will begin.

OK. thanks.

so mph and rpmīs values must be to complete, both??? at same time? or can be first one that the other??

for example in my tables:

WOT shift speed vs. shift:
1 to 2 shift = 34MPH

WOT rpm shift RPM vs. shift:
1 to 2 shift = 5500 RPM

if y have 5500 rpmīs but i dont hit the 34 mph, will not shift?

and what about the Shift speed vs. %TPS vs. Shift table?

what happens if in the cel at 100%TPS i have 36MPH and not 34MPH , which will be respected?

im confussed, previously I had to shift kit and stock program and all work well.
now I installed the TC2500 and camshaft I canīt to make work shifts well.
I am scared to move to the pressures and shift time because I have installed shift kit. what I must do?

You are correct, for WOT shifts both speed and RPM must be satisfied. The Shift speed vs. %TPS vs. Shift table is your part throttle shifting table. Adjust this to suit your tastes; it is a must do for anyone who runs road courses (to avoid upsetting down/up shifts). I tweaked mine in between road course days and it made all the difference. Day to day driving is more fun as well. You can spend a lot of time in this table. I am not sure if setting the 100% TPS speed higher than the WOT overrides it or not. It also depends on if you change what TPS starts WOT. Common sense tells me these values should all line up so that's what I did.

I think Jimmyblue's question regarding how the rev limiter hits is your answer. If you like the way the shift kit feels in terms of shifting, I'd leave it alone and either raise your rev limit or drop the WOT RPM/MPH. In my case, 82 MPH/5800 RPM hit the limiter set for 6200. Bang, shift. I dropped it to 81 and it shifts right around 6100. Perfect.

Hope this helps.
