Default Disable/Delete VATS vs Security light...

If disabled/deleted, will the security light still come on and stay on? (due to chip to ignition lack of connectivity).

I have my VATs disabled and the light doesn't stay on.... not sure if it'll turn on due to a failing ignition though (I've read that one of the wires can break)

Thats what I am wondering. My security light came on today, after a start-up and hasnt gone off. I tried the wifes key (read:spare) and no luck there either. Just a nice steady light glowing back at me....ugh..

here is how you do it if you want to try.

Just ground pin 85 on the relay the vats will think the key is always in the ignition. If you still have problems the module is bad.
