Default ON or OFF, proportional idle...

what does this even do? i mean i know what it does but i dont see why you can turn it on and off? whats the benefit, if any? just wondering if it needs to be turned back on when i get done tuning the majority of the stuff that has to be tuned.

Maybe it does this:

but, with idle instead of fuel to dial in the LTIT's/STIT's???

the only thing i noticed it doing was effecting the o2 oscillation, mine are working great without it, id really like to leave it off but i dont know if it should be on

maybe the hp tuner guys can respond to this?

It's up to you. The whole purpose of that table is for different closed loop behavior at idle. Even with GM, some vehicles use it others do not.

About the only thing I use it for is no proportional change due to airflow variations at idle. Other than that, there is no right/wrong with this one.

Seems to really help tune big cams if you turn it off
