LC-1 doesnt work!

LC-1 doesnt work!
Finally got around to hooking up the LC-1 to HPtuners. Here is how its wired:
LC-1:
red ==== 12v supply-Connected to 12V source?
blue ==== heater ground- Connected to solid ground?
metallic ==== system ground-Connected to EIO Black?
yellow ==== analog out 1- NOT USED?
brown ==== analog out 2- Connected to LC-1 White?
black ==== calibration wire- Connected to LED and Pushbutton?
EIO:
White === Connected to LC-1 Brown?
Purple === NOT CONNECTED?
Blue === NOT CONNECTED?
Green === NOT CONNECTED?
Black === Connected to LC-1 metallic?
Red === NOT CONNECTED TO ANYTHING?
Yellow === NOT CONNECTED TO ANYTHING?
Orange === NOT CONNECTED TO ANYTHING?
I verified that my power input is +12V and applied power to LC-1(without sensor) in for 10 seconds like the instructions said. I then removed power, plugged in sensor and reapplied power. The problem is that I never got any light at all. I guess i could have wired the light wrong but it was simple. How would I be able to tell if the sensor is working and the light is just not? Can I just start up HPtuners and see if it reads anything?
Help is appreciated thanks.

You should try the cable that came with the LC1. If you can program the analog outputs, then I'd say you have power. I'm not sure how it works with HPTuners, but if you search for my user name, there is a write-up of how I hooked it up to EFILive.

touch the sensor. is it hot. be careful. also take readings with hptuners. both should telll you that it is working. i would ground the metallic to the chassis also. ken from hptuners recommended that also innovate did too.

yes. if you get anything but 11.3 it works. i believe innovate might of changed there formula since hptuners made the pid for it. i am working with ken to figure this out. for now make your own pid for the lc-1.

i am pretty pissed that i bought from innovate. they are the rudest hard headed people i have ever talked to. if i was to do it again i would have spent the money and bought a dynojet.

Unless he doesn't have the latest version. If he has the seven wire harness coming out of the LC-1, then yes, green goes to ground. If he only has the six wire version (as depicted above), he won't have a green wire (which is the analog ground on the newer units).
When I talked to Innovate, they confirmed for me that their latest units (the seven wire harness ones) were programmed so that analog output 2 showed 0V is 7.35 AFR, and 5V is 22.39 AFR. I set mine up so that 0V is now 10 AFR, and 5V is 20 AFR. I did have to make a new PID in HPT though to get them to line up.

i believe 1=10 and 5=20 is the way hptuners was told by innovate. they changed the formula obviously. i am getting sick of innovate. if you updated the software the lc-1 will read the new formula. at least mine did.

alright. I tested the LC-1 and it heated up so I powered up HPTuners and log. All that i configured was the AFR (.5=10 and 4.5=18). The log shows that the AFR from the wideband never moved from 11.50-11.54. I reved from 1000RPMs to 4000Rpms and it never moved. Any ideas?

Also w/HP Tuners you'll want to use 0 volts to 5 volts
I believe you should be able to configure the actual LC-1 w/your laptop ... if so then I would set 0 volts = 10AFR and 5 volts = 20 AFR

So I finally got this thing working. Now I just need someone to reassure me that it is configured right. I used 0V=7.35AFR and 5V=22.39AFR. The reason I ask is due to the fact that if I am wrong and its off then all my tuning is a waste. If its off then that would really **** me off!
Thanks guys for all the help!

can someone please answer this question for me:
Is the LC1 configurable????
the 0v=735 5v=2239 is straight from innovate ....
given this info.....
0.3008 should equal .1 volts so monitor raw voltage (it's an option in HP Tuners)

Yes its fully programmable with your laptop or desktop computer to any output you want. It actually works real well as I use one in my vette.
Use any one of the two outputs to output anything you want.
For the money it cant be beat. If you want a remote round display, or square display to monitor the readings while driving around we sell these for short money at www.dynotunenitrous.com They will be added to the webpage shortly. We sell round 2-1/16" billet gauges and tiny square keychain sized gauges that surfacemount if you do not want to add a round gauge.
Checkout the webpage for our boost gauges as well.
Cheers
