Default hpt speed density enhanced

Does anyone here have the 1bar speed density enhanced software? Just wondering how everyone likes it. I'm thinking it might save enough time to make itself worth it with these gas prices.

I can really only see it being worth it if you are 1.) Running a pretty radical setup or 2.) Have a year (I think it's 98-99, correct me if I'm wrong) that reverts to the gimped out secondary VE table while in SD. If I reverted to that low-res table in SD I'd pick up the SD enchanced version in a heartbeat.

EDIT: I guess I'll correct myself by saying it's 98-00 that reverts to the secondary VE table. So yeah, in your case I'd definitely go for it. I'd imagine that a VE table with twice the resolution would make a huge impact on the overall driveability of an SD tune.

Your other option is to simply program the PCM with a 2001+ O.S that did not have the backup VE table.
