0405 after SLP LID

0405 after SLP LID I just installed a SLP lid on my 99 camaro and two days later the check engine light illuminated which I found to be the 0405 code (Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor A Circuit Low). Im wondering what exactly it means and if this could have any relation to the lid. SLP sent me a 00-02 lid with the slot for the air injection which i sealed off, even though that doenst have much to do with egr im just wondering. If not the lid then any other ideas? Thanks
