lo res and hi res commanded afr in hp tuners, what is it??

Default lo res and hi res commanded afr in hp tuners, what is it??

they help file doesnt explain this, what is the difference in the 2?

the hi res is a 2 byte pid and will have more resolution than the 1 byte lo res pid.

so whats that mean lol, the lo res read about 15-16 while the hi res read about what the commanded was. on start up my car ran like **** and i was looking for what the car wanted, and im trying to fix it.

maybe u can help, i have a cam, messed wtih timing and fueling for cold start after sitting over night, the car goes to 1500 then dips to about 500 or so and then goes up, and idles normal again, after about 10, 15 sec

Air Fuel Ratio Commanded Lo Res - 0.1 resolution (1/10)
Air Fuel Ratio Commanded Hi Res - 0.0009765625 resolution (1/1024)

the lo and hi res PID's should report the same value. The Hi res will just have more decimal precision.

Send me a log with lo and hi res and your wide band and I'll take a look at it.

i dont have a wide band, i am still saving up for it. but i was trying to see waht the commanded afr was with all the other stuff added in, whats your email? ill give you whta i have
