Default EGR/AIR (limp home mode?)

I took the EGR/AIR and took cats off and put 02 sims on, My Service engine lights come on and I ran a 14.3 at the track and I know my cars a low 13/high 12 sec car. Someone told me my cars in a Limp Home Mode and the computer is pulling timing and all kinda of stuff and pretty much making my car slow as ****.
Is there any truth to this??

it shouldnt unless you took the front o2 sensors out too, those are theonly needed things and the others are emissions, i wouldnt think it woudl go in a limp mode because of that

did you plug all your egr/air lines after removing the stuff. You may have a vaccum leak of some sort. can you pull the codes from the PCM

You put the o2 sims only in place of the back o2 sensors right? Yeah, you should definately find out what codes it's throwing.

Yeah I put the 02 sims on the back and kept the 02s up front. I bought off road headers with no EGR and blocked off the intake. Ill go back through and make sure nothing was left out. A friend of mines got LS1Edit, so Ill try and play with that for a little bit.

When we took all the 02's off there where 2 long and 2 short 1's, We put a long and a short up front, would that have anything to do with it??
