Default still getting kr, but my timing is higher than what i set it at???

ok so im getting kr when i sit still and give the car gas. the timing is set to 18.5 at the rpm and g/cyl i was getting it at on the log and it showed it was putting in 26* of timing, why is this, anyone know?

looks like it is adding a good bit of fuel when i get on the gas like this AND get kr, so ill try to fix the ve, but my timing is not any more than stock. what are the conditions it uses the park position idle tables? im wondering if i am still in these soemhow when i give it gas. this only happened one time on the log i just did with a good bit of fast throttle opening. anyone have any idea? let me know thanks

if your in drive I would think it has to be one of the add timing tables

what are the rpms its adding alot of fuel at if trims are inline I would check PE maybe adjusting the map and rpms where the PE kicks in also

well i have a 6 speed so its in neutral sitting there. so i dont know what could possibly add to that.

timing was added right at 1400, about 6* was added over what was in the high octane table. pe map enable is set to 65 and the tps hasnt been changed, only the map and the multiplier numbers have been changed.

this info help, need more?

Any idea what the ECT was when you did this? I'm looking at a couple of Vette ECT tables and timing is added at lower operating temps/higher MAP. Suspect F bodies would be similar. Being summer this probably isn't it, but definitely look at the adder tables.

My PCM was using the idle table up to approx. 1200 rpms...Been trying to smooth out my mild bucking at low rpms...Noticed that my timing would jump from 20 deg. to 34 deg. nearly instantly, with no throttle change...Changed the values in the main timing table and no change...Then changed the base timing table and that evened the timing out...

Main timing table won't be totally used until rpms get up above 1200 or so, otherwise it will switch between the two...

Peace...Gman
