Default changing gears

I have hptuners and I was just wondering what exactly do you change whenever you are only changing gear ratios, such as 3.42 to 4.10. I want to make sure I don't leave anything out.

You pretty much go into the Speedometer setting and re-enter your tire size and change the gear ratio. For an auto it is more involved.

And is that the only changes I have to make? There's no other tables I have to worry about or anything?
