Default HPT Removing the F-body REAR O2's

What is this "proper way" for passing OBDII computer inspections? If one
turns off the test, does it flag the emmission test? Or does one leave the SES DTC's enabled (on) w/ no report, will it look "functional" and pass emissions?

Can anyone CONFIRM this?? My SES for the rear O2's was on and the No Report selected...I stll didnt pass as the emissions test said "PCM NOT READY"??

Need an accurate answer ASAP

it's not immediate, you still need to drive the car to get everything to pass

use the scanner to see which readiness tests aren't passing...

I use the set to option 3, no error reported, but I leave the readiness test On, others turn it off and it works as well

Thanks Mike. I just loaded the flash and picked option 3 and turned the readiness tests to off. I need to drive for all weekend and week I suppose. Hopefully it will pass B4 the 26th or I'll be paying late fees in Georgia. Will the readiness test eventually flip to complete?

yes they should all go compolete (evap may take a while... not sure how your laws are, but here in IL we can have 2 failed readiness tests for 2000 and earlier OBDII cars)

My suggestion: do lots of cold starts , let the car fully warm up before moving
do some warm starts
and drive

when I needed to pass emissions... I flashed my car on a tuesday and passed on that thursday... I gave it 4 cold starts and 5 warm starts with 30 miles of varied driving
