HPT cable I am trying to start tuning the car right now. When I go to hook up the laptop to the car and the start the HPT it says cable can not be found or check to see if the ignition is in the on position.
Anyone have a ideal whats up?

I came up with 2 things.
1. maybe its the Belkin USB/ Serial port adapter I got. I read that some members have problems with them.
2. I bought the HPT from a member on here, maybe there some kind of lock on the cable? It was for a 99 f-body which I have.
Any input would be great..
