Default LS1Edit contact only by fax? No reply - boo

I faxed LS1Edit (Carputing) on Thursday about some questions regarding upgrading a license that results from swapping out a bad PCM.

They are not listed in the phone book and did not reply to my fax.

Any suggestions?

Which software company will let you trade-in your LS1Edit a save a few bucks with their software?

I have found Carputing to be very aloff, poor customer service, poor documentation and poor product. Is this the general perception here on the board?

I've always gotten prompt email responses. Usually within a day, sometimes within hours (even late night/early morning).

You can trade in your LS1 Edit interface, or almost any other scan tool/editor type interface for credit on HP Tuners products.

Just e-mail us for more information.

Thanks!

Hang on to your Edit and HPT cables (and maybe other cable types, we have not decided yet), they may be worth something as a trade in when you purchase EFILive.

Don't worry if you have already purchased or are about to purchase, the offer will be made retrospectively for all EFILive FlashScan customers - noone will miss out.

From Blacky on EFI Live. Best investment I have ever made was FlashScan.

I agree. FlashScan is great with that AutoTune feature.

But..the only thing I can say about the above..is "What about the 1998 cars?" I've been actively watching the EFI forums waiting on the content release.

Does anybody offer a phone number to call?

I can't find one for Carputing, HP Tuners, or EFI Live.

Its called competition its the same thing HPT did right before Flashscan was released to the public. They tried capturing the market in hopes of killing potential sales from allready existing EFILive/Autotap customers.

GM offered employee discounts, Ford and Doge followed the only people who benifit from these marketing strageies are the end users....

That is the exact same thing as HPTuners and the Wideband AFR% Error on the Histogram, just EFI-Live has a fancy name for it. We can copy directly from the Scanner to the Editor without the use of Excell.

Who has to use excel anymore. Flashscan users dont have to use excel for anything. We can copy and past any and everything from the scanner to the editor. Thanks for trying though

I was not trying for anything, just making a reference to one of EFI-Live's supporters stating we needed to use excell for ARF correction, which is untrue ... and like EFI, HPT can copy and paste directly from the scanner to the editor. I never said EFI can't do that ... so back to you, nice try.
