Default case relearn car moving?

trying to do a case relearn but every time i try it says the vehicle is moving. as soon as i start to rev the engine it goes to about 8 mph. cant figure out why.

Is the vehicle actually moving, or is the car incorrectly telling the computer it's moving 8mph ?

FWIW, the relearn must be done in park/neutral...

the car is stopped with the parking brake on the computer is saying its moving.

Hmmmm, Possibly feedback from some other source, Did you try completely pulling the vss plug from the trans to see if that is still there? It could be a faulty sensor, or alot of metal shavings on the sensor itself?? Or just electrical interferance or poor ground?? Or the output of the pcm is going bad??
