You're all ready off to a great start. 4 tips for you:

1st - Be patient - you don't want to blow your motor over a careless mistake

2) be patient

C) if you don't know ask

4) be patient

Aside from tune an FI application, what are you trying to do?

www.efilive.com
www.hptuners.com

the above links and this site are some really good resources.

i am trying to streetably tune an 04 gto running 9 punds of intercooled boost with all the supporting boltons. initially the car was professionally tuned and made 482rwhp but the MAF sensor experienced major issues after exactly 30 days of perfect operation. when trying to diagnose the issue i found that the maf continually blew fuses even when a new MAF was purchased. because of this i have decided to go mafless as im sure throttle response as well as airflow will increase yielding better hp numbers. i am an extreme newbie but am learning quickly. a perfect situation would be to download a tuning file from someone with a similar setup. thanks for the help.

2 simple questions.

do you have a 2 bar map sensor?

What tuning software are you using, and do you have thier 2 bar support.

If no to either of the questions, then you CANNOT use a SD tune for boost.

you are off to a great start. This write up should get you going in SD. Keep in mind, I wrote it based on NA so if something sounds unreasonable for an FI setup, don't hesitate to post questions.

I think there is some additional information on FI SD tunes on the efilive forum.
