Default Please help with vig 3600 B4 I go back 2 stock!

I just got my vig 3600 in today. Wtf? My car feels like total **** now. I cut and pasted the force motor current and base shift performance tables that xtrooper posted on hp tuners, but it's no better. The trans feels like it's slipping all the way through the gears. Feels fine at cruise rpm, but when accelerating, I almost can't feel the shifts, and it feels like it's slipping. Is there anything I can do, or do these converters feel like this? I have a car with a th350 and tci 3500, and it doesn't act like this one. You can feel it when you take off, but it still shifts good and firm, and doesn't have the slipping feel that I'm getting with the vig. I am real close to pulling it out, and putting my stock one back in.

not know about the vig 3600,but I run yank 3500 and at normal accelerating can barely feel shift, rpm barely move (75-100 rpm), at full accelerating my rpm never drop below 5-5100 I run ls1edit a homemade tune

A Vig 3600 is supposed to be like other mfg's 4000s. Vigs have always been rumored to be under rated in their stall speeds. You will get more used to it after about a week of driving. Yes the part throttle acceleration and shifting will seem a bit like the tranny is slipping, but high stall speed converters do their magic at WOT. Be careful using other peoples force motor settings also. You don't know how they arrived at them. Deleting all tq management including the part throttle tq management will help the shifting along with eliminating the Desired Shift Time delays.

I appreciate the replies. I will have a stall for sale shortly. I drive this thing every day, and most of it is in town. I hate the way it feels. With my th350 and tci 3500, I can feel the stall when I take off, but other than that, it feels like a stock converter. Good crisp shifts. Thats what I was hoping for. I researched it a lot, but most everyone said the vig was fine for daily driving, but they didn't mention how loose it would feel. Everyone has different opinions about daily driving I guess. Thanks again for the input.

IMPO, I would just put a slight shift kit in it and change around a couple mechanical things in the tranny itself. When you start changing values too drastically, thats when you burn tranny's out
