Tuning fuel trims using narrowband
A buddy of mine recently installed full exhaust on his 02 WS6 and the thing smells rich as hell. However, we drove around datalogging for about an hour and the thing is consistently showing me positive fuel trims. So I added fuel and according to the logs, it looks like we're hitting damn near 0 across the board. I think it is a bit folly to tune off of smell, but it just doesn't seem right that it would lean out after headers. Is the narrowband just consistently incorrect or what?

It could be the narrowbands aren't getting hot enough to give an accurate reading. Going with a hotter sensor like the rear NBO2s from a C5 have been known to help. Try searching a little. This is a frequently covered topic.
