I have 2 Camaros a 2001 SS and a 2002 Z. I read that the software is year specific. I am having issues with my SS and I am overseas right now (Thanks to air force). There is no one that I can go to especially here in Greece. What I am trying to say is that I need a tuning software/scanner now but will I have to pay the same price for a identical software pakage for my Z later? It doesnt make sense. Can I give you the VIN for both vehicles so you can have whatever you have locked to my 2 vehicles? Is it going to cost me $1K in software just to get these 2 cars up and going w/ HP tuners software just because of different years? If thats the case should I just find a 01 PCM and stick it in my 02? It would cheaper for me to that, right?

HPT comes with 2 model years and EFILive comes with 2 vins, so either program would work for both of your vehicles.
