Default my first tune on a bolt on car?s

?1. What's the differnce in tuning and tuning for WOT

?2.what should rev. limit be set at ? I'm thinking 5800 RPM
because don't these cars quite making power after 5800RPM

current plans for tuning after LT & ory pipe install
1.delete air, EGR, rear o2 sensor
2.adjust air to fuel ratio (doe's this include fuel preasure)?
3.adjust timing

anything else to be considered? it's an A4 transmission.

Thanks for helping the newbie

shift much higher. the power might not peak as high, but A4's gears are spaced out so widely that after the shift you're going to fall off the power hard.

Default tuning

What do'es getting rid of torque management do.

LTs, LS6 manifold, ported TB are all the planned mods

I will use stock torque converter & stock cam

I'm new and don't know.

Thanks

yes that power dropping off after the shift is very noticable.
it seams like it takes longer than it should to get back in the powerband

is this caused by the A4 sucking up the power?
meaning the spacing of the gears like 1st & 2nd gear is so tall & 3rd &4th are considerable shorter?

and with getting rid of torque management will I be in power band quicker?
this must put extra strange on the trans?

Thanks from the newbie

A4 does eat up power more than T56, but that's not the problem here. T56 is well matched to stockish power of LS1, A4 is not. The same graph with T56 gears would have you always above 4400rpm, makeing it a much better match.
if you wanna read the whole reasoning behind it, click on my signature, there's few entries there about powerbands and gearing.

I think I'm understanding you're graph to be each shift of trans right.
Thanks
