I am trying to make sense of the cross-platform trade in rules.

If I trade in my HPTuner (EIO) interface cable how much does the latest and comparable version of EFILive cost me.

FWIW, it might be better for you ($$) to sell your HPT cable. I got over $300 for mine. I didn't have EIO and I only had one vehicle type.

From what I read the other day, and I'm not sure there still doing, but what you get, is if you trade your HPT cable in when you buy EFILive, it cost you 699 for efilive personal, but you get upgraded to commercial, necessary for running there custume OS's, for free ($150 value) and 2 extra licences for a total of 4 vins you can tune, any years ($198 value). I just got my commerial verson from Waitforme the other day. He made me a good deal on it out right.

EDIT: I miss read Efilives trade in rules. You get commercial upgrade, OR the 2 licences, not both .

Probable better off to sell your HPT and then buy EFILive, if your wanting to go that way.
