Well he has a 402 ls2 motor making 500rwhp, however when he got the car tuned, the guy tuned it with his hp tuners software and he still throws the code for the rear o2 sensors, the tuner said he needs o2 sims and he cant tune them out? I swear that you could and if you can, how do you tune them out, he told me if you tune them out, and after a some cycles if the computer doesnt see it, it throws a code for the rear o2s? Who is right? Me or him? It would be annoying as hell to drive around with a engine light on all the time!

I know that its possible to tune it out with HPTuners...how though I dont know.

Yes, you can tune them out. I have my disabled using HP Tuners.

141 - HO2S Heater Performance Bank 1 Sensor 2


Passenger Side Codes:
157 - HO2S Circuit Low Voltage Bank 2 Sensor 2
158 - HO2S Circuit High Voltage Bank 2 Sensor 2
160 - HO2S Circuit Insufficient Activity Bank 2 Sensor 2
161 - HO2S Heater Performance Bank 2 Sensor 2

Go to Edit>Engine Diagnostic’s>DTC’s>Error Mode = 3 for each of the codes above.

Go to Edit>Engine Diagnostic’s>DTC’s>SES Enabled = Off for each of the codes above.
