Default decided to go mafless but now have some questions

tuned my LTFTs today to within -+5. I'm wondering tho about the transmission shifting harder while the MAF is disabled. Since I didn't plan on re-enabling the MAF what do I do about the shift firmness? manually tune it how I want it or is there some way to set it back to stock performance?

sorry, I'm a noob to tuning...

Really should pick up a WB to help you with your tuning.

Link in my sig will help you, at least in concept, with the SD tuning.

thanks, the link is dead tho.

I'm working from the tuning doc found in the stickies here, the one that evolved from the first one posted over at HPTuners.com the newer one done by 405HP_Z06

I've collected about every tuning document out there, a lot of them differ on their approach to things, so I picked the best looking one I could find and I'm going with it.

but in all of them I haven't seen any relevant info directly pertaining to my question. I've been reading for weeks before any tuning trying best to prepare. but now that I'm doing it the question of the shift firmness with no MAF hits me.

ok, just found this at HPtuners...

http://www.hptuners.com/forum/YaBB.p...2864;start=1#1

I guess for now if we have this problem we need to email our bin to HPT for it to be fixed manually.

When's 2.0 gonna be released? I've been following things and it's been working good for the guys in the shops, when do the rest of us schmucks get it?

You can fix the problem yourself with the max line pressure enablers.

On efilive, It is in the transmission diagnostics tab. All you need to do is find the dtc for the maf that allows it to jump into full line pressure and just set it to off. It takes just a couple seconds. Most bins dont have that enabled though.

well I have HPTuners, not EFI Live....

I sent my bin to Chris, he's already modded it and sent it back late last nite. All is good now.

Thanks Chris
