Default Will a basic tune give me .1?

The question is will a basic tune give me .1 in the
1/4 mile? If it won't I just want to buy sims. My mods
are listed.

1/4 times are more a driver error thing...mph is more of an indicator of what is gained...most people gain 1+mph in the 1/4 with a decent tune though.

With long tubes, you should have no problem getting .1 knocked off your 1/4 mile with a tune.

Plus, you'll have more part throttle acceleration, better fuel economy, better throttle response, better idle, ect. if you tune the right parameters.

A tune is def. worth it after longtubes. I gained a lot of part throttle responce not to mention increasing my mileage 2mpg.

Tuning being the only change I went from 12.94 110.08 to a 12.72 @ 111.39(best MPH 111.66).

What was more impressive was how much more responsive it was below 3500rpm.

I'm in the process of tuning right now after only touching the airflow mods before...the difference when you get your a/f back where it's supposed to sit after longtubes, intake, etc is incredible (and I'm not even halfway through). I would say to get the tune.

With the addition of longtubes is very common for us to see over 20WHP gain and much better throttle response. Typically every 10WHP is worth about .1 in the 1/4, so I would think you could gain even .2 with a really good tune similar to what we do.
