Default Photos of MAFless bellows

Some of you have asked for photos of how I made the transition from my MTI lid to my 90mm Nick Williams TB using no MAF. I used the rubber adapter that comes with the SLP 85mm MAF to connect to a 4" diameter 5" length section of exhaust pipe to the Air Lid. Next I used a 4" hump hose (part number 3H4 from www.airflo.com $11.88) to connect the 4" pipe to the 90mm TB. Works beautifully. When we dynoed the car with no hose attached (completely open), the car lost 4rwhp. So I guess the setup works well.

You didn't read correctly. When we removed the tubing and just ran the throttle body completely open, the car made 4 rwhp less. It made more power with the airbox connected to the TB.

The link in my sig is a step-by-step for SD tuning with a WB. I believe Pat tuned his with fuel trims (same basic concept).

You will need www.efilive.com or www.hptuners.com. Take a look at the "best tuner/software" sticky for more information on how to determin which software is best for you.

Edit will work, but it's not as user friendly as EFILive (can't speak for HPT, but I'm sure someone will chime in).

Advantages - Search is your friend here
