throttle body sensor
My 2001 SS is showing an SES light and it reads "throttle body sensor". The car is custom tuned and Sat. night we ran the computer and found this code.
My freind took out the code and the car ran like a scalded ape. The next day the light is back and the car still runs great.
This is a first for me and my 9th Camaro. I understand that GM can't make electric windows, but what's up with the throttle body sensor?
Have any of you had to replace your sensor? I have only found one place online that carries this part, anybody here got a source for tbs?

The sensor is not necessarily bad. The PCM will
set a code if the minimum (idle) or maximum (WOT)
output of the sensor is out of line. This is sometimes
a side effect of people modifying their throttle body
(see bump stop mod, porting) mechanically, letting
the blade angle go over center and the TPS can
only follow and report, and get dinged for it.
Check it out.
