5.3 Computer I just bought a 5.3 engine on ebay to swap into my 91 chevy shortbox pickup. Do I have to get a 5.3 computer for it? Can I use a 4.8 or LS1 computer when I get a harness for it?

What year is it?
For 99-02 4.8, 5.3, & 6.0 the PCMs are all the same and are interchangeable. I would try and find one from a 5.3 though or else there are going to be settings that are different unless your going to get it custom tuned.
03' and up use a different PCM.
