TPS WOT not reading 100%
My friend had a ported throttle body laying around so I installed it on my car. I just scanned with HPTuners the throttle position in percentage and discovered that I am not achieving 100% with WOT, I even did it manually under the hood and the most I am getting is 95%. Is there any way to recalibrate the TPS so it sees 100% when the throttle is wide open?

you may have some slack in your throttle cable..... try to open it WOT at the TB itself... if it goes to 100% there, but won't in the car then it is usually 1 of 2 things
1. Your floor mat is in the way (sounds simple but I've seen this on several cars)
2. There's slack in your throttle cable and you need to tighten it up a little...
If you have TCS/ACS then just follow the Throttle cable back and you'll find a junction w/adjustments... I'm not sure how to adjust on a non TCS/ACS car

Yes, I did test for slack in the throttle cable by opening it at the TB itself. It still read the same. But I actually just barely solved the problem. I unplugged the TPS sensor, turned the key over to the on postion, waited about 30 seconds, turned it off, and plugged back in the TPS sensor. I did another test and it went to 100%. I read this in the HPTuners forum, it must recalibrate the TPS sensor to zero or something.
