I've got the O2 heater codes every now and then
(on fairly new sensors, even) and never saw
any correlation with misfires on my engine.
IF the O2 is functioning normally otherwise I
can't see that it would.
On a cold start the pcm monitors how long it
takes the O2 voltage to drop below 300mV.
If it does not within a certain amount of time
(time depends on other variables) then the
second time it happens the code sets.
LSS, when I get tired of it I just replace the
sensor.
