yeah i'm pretty unhappy about the predator that I bought. diablosport refuses to reflash it.

in any case, i'm extremely happy w/ HP Tuners. more options and can use it on an unlimited number of cars. i just finished tuning a friends A4 TA for 100 bucks... a few more cars and this thing will pay itself off

Might want to see what your credit card company
will do for you. If the unit never hooked up to your
car then it's still "usable" on some other. Though a
"no refunds on electrical parts" policy is the norm,
selling you a product that's not compatible, isn't.

If the unit does not even power up, though, check
the cig lighter fuse (also powers the OBDII connector,
at least on F-bodies it does).

the unit will turn on but it say it does not support this vehicle it will take engine reading and tell you trouble codes but that is it .

Is that the standard version or a multi-user license version?

The standard one. You pick 2 model/year combinations and can use it on an unlimited number of cars for those models/years (eg: 98 and 99 f-body or you could do 98 fbody and 00 silverado/sierra - check out http://hptuners.com/order.php)
