Default SD IDLE for a new.

i have a z28 230/237 cam w/heads, Ltīs, 3500 TC, CAI, before unplugging maf I did a basic idle tuning (Maf was multiply by 1.15%, new idle rpm, litle TB drill) . everything worked well. I decided to use SD mode for tune, but after the maff was unplugg the idle comes very bad and some times runing dies.

Any help or doc to tune the idle in SD mode i would be greatly appreciated.

xcuse my english iīm from Can-Cun mex. newbie.

what else have you changed from stock in your tune? FAST 90 mm or LS6 intake?
Also you idle airflow may be too low. You need to log your idle trims to find out.

I'd go out and log as much as you can in SD and do a work on your VE table. maybe the changes needed while driving will help your VE.

Do not drill your TB again. If you need to adjust your airflow, use the idle set screw.

Are you using a wideband? Which tuning software are you using?

Some things to try and get a starting point (credit to NoGo for this):
-In the VE table multiply the 1200 rpm column down to 70 kpa by 90%, the 800 rpm column down to 70 kpa by 80%, and the 400 rpm column down to 70 kpa by 70%.
-In the IAC Park table, set points 40C and up to 21.
-In the Idle Air in gear, set points 60C and up to 9.2.
-in the high octane table, from 400 to 1000 rpm, .08 to .32 g/sec, add 2 degrees.
This is just a starting point, you may have to adjust some more for surging or hanging idle. I use this to get the cars running good enough to log with the wideband, and then go from there.
