Default tunercats

Anyone use the tunercats software for the obd1 computer in houston. Looking for some help having problems connecting to pcm.

obd1 computers dont program via diagnostic port, you have to pull the chip.

Most obd1 ecms/pcms dont but 94/95 lt1's use flash memory. They are one of the few obd1's that do.

hey esr what kind of cable and what kind of computer are you using i had the same problem and it ended up being the laptop i was using wasnt compatable with the cable or software no matter what i did i disabled every option on the computer where all i was going to use was the hyperlink all i got was cannot establish communication with pcm i rolled out my desk top with a long *** extention cord and it was just fine i have a disk that you can run a test on your cable to see if it checks out ok with your computer let me know and ill email the program to you also this was on my 95 m6 with p&p heads hot cam and a bunch of bolt ons i also have a bin file for my set up

yeah also if you are using one of those serial port to usb adapter cables then you have to have the driver software so your computer can recognize it. also do you have the right comm port selected
