Default How much timing for 9:1 comp. 402

I am installing a new 402. I was running a high compression 346 previously. timing at WOT was about 26 - 26.5 deg. Any reason to change these values for initial engine break-in on a 9:1 motor. I have heard that the 402 does not like as much timing. What about other areas of the timing map?
