short answer yes... but it's best to find out why your car is running that lean...
You're talking about WOT right? (part throttle should be around 14.7:1)
I would check fuel pressure... a clogged filter, failing pump could cause that... also do you have any SES lights?
Have you recently reoiled your K&N filter? If so oil prolly got on the wires for the MAF and is causing incorrect readings
The MAF Transalter is a bandaid fix (if any) .. I would try to find the real problem first
