Default VSS Signal

Working on tuning my 69 Camaro with A LS1/Powerglide Race car. I'm having problems tuning the car(HP Tuners) and I believe my problem is not having A VSS signal which is keeping my timing tables in Park position since the PCM is not reading any vehicle speed. Is there a way to get around having a VSS? Thanks In advance for the help. Larry

Park condition, you might be fighting the PRNDL (or
lack) more than VSS. Check the system section,
there is a "PRNDL equipped" thingamabob there and
maybe this will lead you somewhere?

As to getting around all of the sensor stuff, there's
a GMPP 4BBL intake, the water pump cover & "cam
spud" kit that lets you run HEI and a lever fuel pump,
and there you go. Use your wideband to pick jets
and sell the software.

I think there are places that will sell you an adapt-'em-up
speed sensor box if you just have to stay all modern.
