stock O2 sensors are narrowband.. only accurate at stoich (14.7:1 in Gasoline vehicles) ... further you get from stoich the less accurate
Wideband is accurate across the board... it can accuretly measure 10.0:1 AFR or 20:1 AFR
Narrowband = 0 to 1 volt (1000 millivolts)
Wideband = 0-5 volts (5000 millivolts)
But the basic thing is wideband is accurate everywhere, narrowband is only accurate at stoich
