LS1 Edit flash files repository
I went ahead and put up a little web page to host/describe the various LS1 Edit flash files
http://ls1edit.slowcar.net/
I would appreciate it if you would email me any files you have - stock, modified, etc. If you could include a description of the file that would be great! (vehicle (f/y-body, truck, etc.) year, transmission, stock/modified (and modifications)).
you can email me at
chris@slowcar.net
Thanks,
Chris Bennight

Re: LS1 Edit flash files repository
Thanks everyone - files I have received to date are up - also a warning from Ken - you can't just load another file directly into your pcm. You should I think still be able to view the other files and possibly compare (if the years are correct - 99-200, 98, etc.) to get an idea of what is stock for the stock files and what changes others are making for the non-stock files.
Keep 'em coming!

BTW, the stock rear is a 2.73 with stock tire height of 25.64"

One easy way to compare different year files is to just open another instance of LS1_Edit and open the 99/2000 in one and the 98 in another.

You can open them with a hex editor such as UltraEdit-32, but it will do you little good without the LS1 Edit software.

This started out great and then just stopped. What happened to "Group participation" for this forum? Surely there are more people out there who could share their knowledge learned.

If I end up altering it, I will post it or if I got permission from Jayson to post it.
Anybody with a 2000 A4? I want to see how to add second gear start.
EDIT: DOH! Just read the user guide and that is not in the cards. This is more limited than I thought, but the user interface looks good.
