Default long term fuel trim

i have HPtuners and i was told that my long term fuel trim should be in the negitive but it is maxed out in the positive. where should it be and what do i need to change to get it there? thanks

i have messed with the timing, air/fuel and still no change. anyone have any ideas?

heads (shaved ported), ls6 intake, forged 347. stock cam. long tubes. all egr removed. free mods. ported throttle body.

maxed positive LTRIMS may indicate a leak as more air is getting in than the computer thinks. If it is primarily lean at idle, your ported TB changed the amount of air entering and that could contribute to it if you have not changed your IAC table.

it is the stock throttle body just smoothed and minor porting done. what do i need to do to fix this. the car also pulls timing out sometimes for no reason.

You have alot of work to do. U increased the air to the engine, now the ECM is adding fuel. Now u have to learn how to tune it. Unplug the maf and change the ve table until the stft + ltft are negitive. THen plug in the Maf and tune that. U will have to read the stickies and make the changes. People will help u if u have trouble but they will not fix it for u.

ok thanks i am new to all of this and have no clue what i am readingin the stickies. can anyone help me get started? also about how bad will this mess the car up if they are maxed out in the +. once i get it right will there be a big change in power?
