When disabled, the PCM will always use
- {B3605} Commanded Fuel When in Open Loop or
- {B3647} (not available in this operating system) as the fuel mixture table without any O2 feedback as long as table
- {B4205} Closed Loop Temp Enable is also set to it's maximum value.
If this parameter is enabled then O2 feedback (STFT) will be used with the Open Loop table.
If you wish to run total open loop disable this parameter and set
- {B4205} Closed Loop Temp Enable to it's maximum value.

Only the following values may be entered into this table:
- Disable
- Enable

Prolly not i didnt see it in 1.7

Actually that table enables stft learning in open loop instead of just closed loop only. In the stock file it is diabled meaning it doesnt learn in open loop. I you enable it and command 15.5 in the OLFA table the pcm with try and trim to meet the AFR....

Its in the stock os's and v1 and v2 it is removed in v3 for obvious reasons

How accurate do you think the AFR would be considering you are using the narrow band O2 sensors?

Not sure I personally would verify with a WB if they are capable of doing so. I figure if the aussies run lean cruise and the narrow bands operate fine for that it should be able to trim for 15.5:1 although i wouldnt go any leaner than that

Its a calculated AFR, similar to how the aussie cars do lean cruise. If your VE table is accurate, its actually pretty darned close. I did the EFILive "AutoTune" on my car, and then played around with it, pretty darned slick.

Just another thought for you guys to think of, A wideband is accurate is it not? A wideband is configurable on its voltages right? You can set the o2 sensor to put out a 0 to 1 volt right? Getting my autofuel hint yet???

I'm not quite tracking...could you spell it out a little more clearly?

Definitely a cool idea, and a wideband set to 0-1v would be the only way I'd do it after watching my narrow bands take a **** on me this weekend. I mean, don't get me wrong...I enjoyed watching my fuel trims swing full positive as my O2s flatlined at 0mV

whats the resolution of the 5v D/A converter on most widebands.. like the LC1 for example?? 8bit? 16?

No , what it will do is if its in open loop and it sees a table entry of 14.63 then it will go into a quasi closed loop in this area
