What function does the TCC stop lamp switch have?

Default What function does the TCC stop lamp switch have?

is this solely for cruise control disable on braking? Does it unlock the convertor on Cruise control disable or something?

It unlocks the TCC when applying the brakes, regardless of Cruise Control mode or not.
